Ms. Natalie Tiong has been in the early childhood industry for almost five years. She chanced upon her interest in working with children while tutoring for primary school children during her undergraduate days.

With a strong foundation in the early years and holistic experiences, Natalie understands the importance of meaningful routine time and effective curriculum planning for young children as it helps to build a good relationship with them. This is in line with her belief that ‘Happy Children Are Better Learners’ which is evident in her practice where she puts priority on building good rapport with the children under her care.

Natalie has a keen interest in the development of young children and enjoys planning developmentally appropriate play activities for children where authentic learning occurs. She believes that through purposeful play, children take ownership of their learning as they are willing and motivated to learn. Children will then be able to construct their own experiences and knowledge.

Natalie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Buffalo, New York, as well as a Professional Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education from SEED Institute. She is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Education, specializing in Early Childhood at the National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University.
